Holmenkol

One of the oldest ski wax manufacturers in the world, Holmenkol was established in 1922 by Chemist and ski jumper Dr. Max Fischer. They now produce a huge range of high quality waxes, tools and tuning equipment used by professionals and at home world wide.
With a rich history, Holmenkol was founded in Norway and invented the first waxing system where different waxes were used for skis depending on the snow quality and climatic conditions. Various colours were used to identify the different types of application.

At the 2006 Winter Olympics 43 national teams used Holmenkol products and since then the company has grown continuously with nano impregnating compounds, multiple patents and a strong knowledge base.
