The Bern Baker was introduced to the world for the first time at the last winter Olympics by gold medalist and Bern friend Seth Wescott, since then the Baker has captured the attention of all serious action sports athletes. The Baker is the world's first functional visor lid.

In developing the Baker, Bern spoke with the most progressive athletes in skate, snow and wake. Riders wanted a visor lid that was stylish and functional, meaning the visor is meant to be worn forward, keeping sun and precipitation our of your eyes. Bern are proud to introduce the Baker. From Chad Sharpe, to Scott Byerly the top names in wake, skate and snow are riding Bern. The time has come for change, Bern has arrived. Be aware of imitators - if it ain't a Baker, it's a faker!

Brock Foam

  • Multi Impact - Unlike traditional EPS, Brock Foam can be dropped and can withstand multiple impacts without compromising integrity
  • Custom Fit - Brock Foam is relatively soft and flexible, allowing it to adapt to a wide variety of head shapes and sizes
  • Light Weight - much lighter than the same helmet in EPS
  • Breathable - If water can pass through the foam, air can circulate no problem - helping to keep your head cool.
  • Comfortable - due to the light weight, custom fit and the breathability - you soon forget you are wearing it!
  • Low Profile - the foam is thiner than on the EPS version or any other EPS helmet - so it does not look like you are riding with a big lump on your head!


Sizing

  • Measure the circumference of your head using a soft tape measure, running the tape over two of your fingers (to ensure it is not too tight a fit) and around your head at the widest point, from forehead, across the temples and around the back.
  • Print a MEASURING TAPE  NB 1. The page will load slowly because it is a pdf. NB 2. Just before you confirm the 'print' instruction, please make sure the 'page scaling' on your printer settings is set to 'None'
  • Please note: Brock Foam hard hats are not certified helmets for winter sports use. They are hard hats not helmets. This lid does, however, have CE1385 certification in Europe.





The Bern Baker is available in 2 construction materials:
* EPS - Standard material used on most sports safety helmets
* Brock Foam - Unique to Bern, high tech, superbly comfortable/breathable and multi-impact.
This helmet features Brock Foam construction

The Bern Baker is available in 4 variants:
* Water - Closed cell waterproof lining, tough and durable.
* Summer - Non-waterproof open cell super comfy foam lining
* Winter - Same as summer plus you get a removable winter knit liner, to cover your neck and ears, and a goggle clip - to hold your ski goggles in place.
* Audio - Same as winter but with integrated audio speakers.
