Lightning fast deployment and an aluminium blade make the Deploy a great choice for any emergency situation

The Deploy range of shovels from Black Diamond are lightning fast and specifically designed for moving snow and ice when time is of the essence.
The Aluminium shaft and blade stow within each other to create a shovel that is lightweight, fast and extremely durable.
To deploy the shovels handle, simply depress the spring pin in the shovel head and the integrated shaft pulls out, you are then ready to dig!
To collapse, just press the button again and then slide the shaft back into the shovel blade.
The Deploy shovels come in two different sizes, the 3 and the 7. The 3 will stash inside a backpack easily and is the shovel of choice for general use. the 7 is considerably larger and will be perfect for touring or jump building!

  • T Grip handle - The T-handle is ergonomically adapted to the human hand. The advantage of this grip is an economical shoveling process – so it is done faster and requires less effort
  • Integrated handle and blade - Handle integrates into the blade for rapid deployment and a tidy pack
  • Aluminium Blade - Extremely durable and lightweight
