Burton men's AK BK insulator jacket.
Lightweight under shell insulator with Primaloft insulation technology.

Mid layers are the perfect way to keep warm whilst snowboarding. They work while you play, wicking away perspiration from your base layer thermals or your skin, keeping you dry and warm. If you are too hot, you can simply remove a layer, and if you are too cold you add a layer. Multi-layering is the best way to keep warm because in between each layer, pockets of hot air are trapped, so the more layers you have the warmer you will be.

This is the Burton AK BK Insulator jacket, which has been designed purely as a no frills, under shell insulator jacket to keep your upper body warm and dry, using its Primaloft Insulation technology. The pit zips are the same size as the ones on the Burton Shell's, so you can undo them both at the same time with ease. This jacket is thin and lightweight so it doesn't hinder your maneuverability.

  • Lightweight DWR coated ripstop fabric - stops huge holes appearing in your jacket
  • Primaloft insulation - will keep everything warmer, drier and softer
  • Micro fleece lining on collar for comfort
  • 2 zip up micro fleece lined hand warmer pockets
  • 1 small zip up chest pocket
  • 1 main zip up the middle with zip guard at chin
  • Drawstring adjustable hem
  • Velcro adjustable cuffs
