This is the Contour GPS actions sports digital video camera.

The Contour GPS is a lot like the Contour HD, but with a few albeit amazing additional features to give you a truely amazing product. The Contour GPS is capable of capturing beautiful high definition footage up to 1080p quality with its 135 ° wide-angle lens with minimum distortion or fish eye. A lot of extreme sports cameras on the market claim to be easy to use, but let's face it, they're not always as easy as they make out. The Contour GPS however is true to its word with single button recording and laser alignment to make it straightforward to see what exactly you're shooting. All you need to do then is go pull off some tricks.

All in all the Contour GPS offers top notch high definition footage at up to 60 frames per second for a smooth shot, and in addition quickly adjusts to changing light conditions to give you the best possible imagery. It's not all about the quality of the footage though. The GPS is made to withstand the best or worst of conditions. Whether you're going to cake it in mud, kick sand in it's face or take the occasional tumble on the mountain, the aluminium body will ensure that it takes the hits you give it.

Contour have obviously didn't think they had enough features on their camera so they've solved this by adding GPS video mapping and Bluetooth connectivity. Whether you're trying to retrace your last run, checking your speed or taking a note of that wicked kicker you just saw, the GPS feature records speed, location and elevation to your video so you'll know exactly where you where. This is then interlinked to Google Maps which maps the route second-by-second of your run.

One of the common complaints with small action cameras is the lack of a review screen. Half the time you have to set the camera up several times to get the shot that you want, or go all the way back to your pc to see the shots that you've taken. With the Bluetooth function built in to your Contour GPS, you don't need to worry any more. Simply download the free iPhone or Android app for your phone and link your camera with your phone. Your phone is then the review screen for your camera! This allows you to shoot for perfection, line up your shot and tweak settings before going on your run.
