This is the Contour's new Roam high definition action sports camera.

Taking videos should be easy. With the Contour Roam, it is. One of the major features of the Contour Roam is one touch operation. Flick the switch and the camera turns on and starts recording, flick it the other way and it stops and turns off. This means you'll only use the battery when you're recording, no power wasted ever!

Shot wise you get full 720p, 960p and 1080p high definition (HD) recording to give you the highest quality footage on it's 170 degree wide angle lens without compromise. If you're not looking to take videos you can use the Contour Roam as a stills camera and get excellent 5 megapixel (mp) photos to really capture the scenery or superb action shots.

Durability on any action sports camera is always going to be a key point. There's no point having one if it's going to break after your first wipe out of bail. The Contour Roam is made to withstand some serious abuse. The Aluminium body and waterproof to 1 meter out of the box means that you can concentrate on yourself and not your beloved camera. Ok 1 meter's not that great if you're into watersports, so Contour have created a waterproof case for the Roam to proof it up to 60 meters. That should be enough for you kayakers, surfers and divers alike.

If you're looking for an affordable way to start recording the action, then you can't really get better than the Contour Roam. Easy to use, high quality high definition recording and all in a robust shell. You can't really ask for more than that!
