The D-Impact 5 gloves by Dainese have been designed with a snowboarder in mind. Utilizing the technology that comes with their Hector range of wrist guards, the D-Impact 5 gloves are simply the best glove/wrist guard combo that you can buy. Technically as a glove, the D-Impact is sound. Using a D-Dry membrane the gloves ensure that you get a complete seal against undesired amounts of water coming through the fabric. Elevated breathability makes sure that your sweat can get out, so it's happy days all around. For added warmth Dainese put their Primaloft padding in them, which is made from ultra fine fibers that are treated so you get an incredibly soft, lightweight and water resistant glove. Dainese say that Primaloft padding is 14% warmer when dry and 24% warmer when wet than all their competitors.

Features Include:

  • Stretch Fabric - the fabric gives a little to accommodate various shapes of hands.
  • Dainese D-Dry Membrane - A Hydrophilic membrane which is applied to the fabric ensures a seal against undesired penetration by water and air. Elevated breathability ensures the evaporation of perspiration under all weather conditions.
  • Primaloft One internal padding - Ultra-thin fibers which are subjected to special treatment through a patented process and are then combined to make an insulation core that is incredibly soft, lightweight and water-resistant. Primaloft One absorbs 3 times less moisture and is 14% warmer when dry and 24% warmer when wet, than the insulation materials provided by its competitors.
  • Patented Hector wrist guard system - Utilizes the technology found in the Dainese Hector wrist guards, which are widely regarded to be the best wrist guards on the market.
  • PU leather palm - gives better grip on surfaces when wet, and is very hard wearing.
  • Index finger PU leather reinforcement - Leather patch on the index finger for additional strength in the area which gets worked the most by doing up laces and bindings.
  • Soft foam knuckle cushions - Foam padding on the outside of the knuckles, perfect if you're brushing past tree branches in the back country.
  • Super cinch gauntlet closure - quick draw to keep the snow out
  • High ride gauntlet - made to go over the sleeve of your jacket help stop snow going up your arm.


Sizing:

  • Unisex Large = 8.5 to 9.5" (22 to 24cm)
  • Measure your hand at the widest point, just above the knuckles.
