The ultimate in snowboarding spine and back protection. Great for rollerblade, mountainboard, skate, skateboard or any other high impact sport.

This is the Demon Shield spine guard and back protector. The Shield spine guard is the top level of back protection in the Demon range and can also be found in the Sheild Vest and Shield Armour Top. This is litterally just the stand alone guard, which is perfect if are only trying to protect a previous back injury or already have other body armour. The Shield Spine Guard comes with an armadillo style back protector which gives good movement and rotation, but when you need the protection to stop you extending your back, the Polyurethane shell holds firm and gives plenty of support. Add to that the collar bone and shoulder protection and you have a top piece of kit.

Please note, the number of 'armadillo' spine plates varies depending on the size of spine guard you select. XL and L have 7, M has 6 and S has 5.

Sizing

Sized to fit adult men.
If you take a men's size large jacket, a large spine guard should be fine.
Ladies, best select 2 sizes smaller. ie if you take a large jacket go for a small spine guard.
If measuring your back, go from the top of the shoulders (below the neck) to the small of your back. NB the spine guard is designed to go below waist level, but will not cover the coccyx. You will need Impact Shorts for the coccyx
