These wrist guards have protection panels on the underside or heel of your hand (like many other wrist guards) but also have protection on the back of your wrist, to help stop bending backwards.

Sizing:

  • Sizes are based on men's hands. If you take a medium men's jacket, medium wrist guards should fit fine. We recommend women go 2 sizes smaller, ie if you are medium = size 12, go for extra small wrist guards
  • Measure your hand at the widest point, just above the knuckles.
  • Print a MEASURING TAPE  NB 1. The page will load slowly because it is a pdf. NB 2. Just before you confirm the 'print' instruction, please make sure the 'page scaling' on your printer settings is set to 'None'
  • XS, your hand measures 5.5 - 6.5" 14 - 17cm
  • Small, your hand measures 6.5 - 7.5" 17 - 19cm

  • Large, your hand measures 8.5 - 9.5" 21 - 24cm

Top Tips - How to avoid a broken wrist
Buy Knee Pads! OK wrist guards are a good idea too but Knee Pads are just as important. When you fall forwards, make sure you drive your knees towards the ground so that they break your fall and absorb the impact. Wearing Knee Pads gives you the confidence to do this. Keep your forearms up and hold them flat against your chest. This is the best way to avoid a broken wrist. Try to avoid putting your hands out to break your fall.

If you fall backwards, make sure you are wearing good quality Impact Shorts and, again, avoid putting your hands out to break your fall.

Large - Doctor No wristguards
I found this product to be very comfortable to wear. For a very reasonable price I believe they are very good value for money.I now feel much more confident when snowboarding with my wristguards on and find that they are extremely effective when I put my hands out to break my fall - which I was taught not to do in my snowboarding lessons. The only slight problem I have found is that when I wear them I have a little difficulty in putting my gloves on over them although I can get my gloves on after a slight delay. Maybe customers should ensure that they invest in wristguards first before purchasing a pair of gloves! Other than this they are a very good purchase and I have no hesitation in recommending this product.
