The Board Shorts are impact shorts by Forcefield, which are designed especially for the snowboard market. Designed to protected the coccyx and buttocks, the Forcefield Board Shorts are constructed from their BeCool™ fabric, the shorts allow sweat to wick away from the body to help make sure you stay dry. The protection in these shorts is a triple layer of Nitrex armour, which is CE approved to the highest standards to give you all the protection for your coccyx you could need. The armour is also removable making the shorts easier to wash and has been tested all the way down to -10 degrees centigrade.

Forcefield are the official body armour suppliers to the Salomon UK freestyle ski team and now the Great Britain Snowboard and Ski Teams both use Forcefield Armour too - there must be something in it!

  • Constructed from BeCool™ fabric - A polymide fibre with integrated airflow control. It has a 4 channelled section to give greater air diffusion surface than ordinary rounded sctions. This increases efficiency in maintaining body temperature through efficient cooling.
  • New removable triple layer Nitrex breathable armour - Designed in conjunction with Forcefield, Nitrex has outstanding shock absorbing properties. It is used throughout Forcefield's body armour range and gives performance that is second to none in terms of protection, comfort and performance.
  • RPT Repeat Performance Technology - gives the same protection from 1st impact to 1000th impact!
  • Removable armour.
  • Machine washable.
  • Tested to -10 degrees centigrade.
  • Drawstring waist - give a superior fit and comfort.
  • CE Approved to EN1621-1:1998, EN1621-2:2003, EN13595-1:2002 and EN340:2003. We believe these are the only snowboard crash pants on the market in the UK to have achieved these approval ratings - which are to motorcycle safety standards.
