Simply the best ski servicing vice / clamp on the market.
If you are going to service your own skis, the right tools for the job make all the difference. The Kunzmann PROFI SKI Servicing Stand should be your starting point. If a job is worth doing, it is worth doing properly!
When servicing skis, life is so much easier if the skis are held firm and still. It allows you to apply pressure to scrape and spread wax, without the skis wobbling all over the place. It also means that when you file your edges, the angles are true, clean and sharp. A wobbly ski means wobbly edges and a wobbly ride!
Before choosing which ski vice to stock, we thorughly researched the market. We chose to stock the Profi Ski Vice because of it's simplicity, ease of use and versatility. Unlike most other ski vices, the Profi works well for all types of skis, including modern twin tips and carvers with wide tails and noses. The system works without vice jaws clamping your skis, which could damage the skis and which would get in the way for servicing. The stands have a nice thick rubberised coating to protect your skis and to stop them sliding. It only takes moments to position your skis and, when done, they are held rock solid!
Please note, the photo featuring the blue ski illustrates an earlier model of the Prof Ski Vice, which uses different colours and which has slightly different features.
