Short Sleeve Race series Lycra Impact Rash Vest. Worn inside or outside your wetsuit - Full UV protection – great with Board shorts in the summer.

Neil Pryde 4000 series Short sleeve Impact Rash vest Is a low profile Spandex flotation jump shirt with polylropylene thermal panels on the chest and back. This Impact Rash Guard features removeble beveled foam panels for flotation and protection against impact as well as a boardshort attachment loop.

This Pryde Short Sleeve Impact Rashie with a medium height neck style is ideal for any watersport where you need to be more comfortable in your wetsuit, the Lycra material with its 4 way stretch and tight fitting design will let your wetsuit slide on easy when you are getting ready and gives you more freedom when on the water.
Raglan sleeve design allows the wetsuit to move so you do not get rubbed and sore - hence the name RASH VEST - does what it says!

UV protection - this Vest is rated at 50+UPF which gives you the MAXIMUM PROTECTION from harmful UV rays - stopping over 98% of the rays getting to your skin! Ideal for use with board shorts on very hot days in exotic locations - so if you are off to the Caribbean in the winter make sure to pack your Neil Pryde Protex vest, It can also be used when you are in the UK in the summer and you feel like you have not seen the sun all season.
Construction.

The vest is made from 8oz Spandex Lycra with 4 way stretch and feature Flat lock seams which are strong and robust and do not sit proud of the surface - extra comfort.
The vest is a tight fit design and sizes are listed in US Sizes - for UK go up one size so if you think you are normally a Medium - choose a US large size - See below for fitting detail if in doubt!


Construction Detail

  • Heavy Duty 8oz UV Rated Lycra for full Sun protection
  • Flat Lock seam design - smooth on the inside for more comfort
  • Raglan Sleeve design for minimal seam detail, and no under arm seams for greater comfort
  • 20% Spandex with 80% Nylon Lyrca material for full 4 way stretch and great memory so the vest does not go baggy after lots of use

  • Removable Beveled foam - for flotation and impact protection
  • Tight Fit design - no baggy areas inside your suit for greater comfort
  • Medium Turtle Neck Design - saves your neck from the suit, salt water and sand
  • Board short attachmnet loop - stops the vest riding up or your shorts coming down
  • Waist band gripper to keep the vest in place in the wildest conditions
