Designed like the original Freedom but with the SL2 lacing system, the Northwave Freedom SL2 makes lacing your boots a doddle! This boot is designed for all over the mountain giving quality without breaking the bank. If you want the mountain, you want the freedom and convenience of the Northwave SL2 lacing system.

Super Lace 2 Lacing System - Just 3 steps to get the perfect fit.
1. Pull the first string to adjust the lower part of the boot.
2. Pull the second string to adjust the upper part of the boot.
3. Click the string locks in place and you're ready to go!
Each cord has a leather handle, so you will not cut into your fingers. When you are done, these handles clip neatly to the side of your boot.

To make life really easy, the boots also use a 2:1 pulley system, so you can really crank on the tension around the critical ankle area.

At the end of the day, release a small lever, pull on a tab and your laces magically fall loose for you to easily slide your foot out. As simple as that!

Inner Boot Features Include:

  • TF 1 Liner with Stroble construction combined with EVA and Northwave's softest IHS for more flex without seam under foot.
  • Heat mouldable Fit - Thermo-Fit Foam with target fit zones that can be catalyzed with heat to fit - the more you waer them, the better they fit!
  • Speed Lace- The new liner lace lock is built with a quick release system to ensure efficiency and reduce lace slippage. Lace slides through a metal ring to improve the closure.
  • Web System - Asymmetric and supportive structure built onto the liner to distribute pressure from the hi back to the rest of the liner
  • Easy Flex Window - Strategically placed supportive foam that gives enough freedom and support and avoids calf bite.
  • Heel Pocket - Savior Heel Pocket comfortably shapes the foot and utilizes one-way fabric to avoid heel lift.
  • S1 Footbed
