This is the 2011 O'Brien Traffic ECO Wakeskate in Bamboo construction in the medium size 107 - 42" Ideal beginner / Good Intermediate rider board

Without a doubt, wakeskating has taken off over the years. Wakeskating gives us all another challenge behind the boat. The Traffic series supplies you with the tools to learn the nuances of this sport. These are the O'Brien Trafic Wakeskates in Bamboo - the ECO alternative.

These Skates are great if you are learning - if in doubt go up a size as these are slightly easier to ride when you are starting

When O'Brien started testing bamboo as an alternative to traditional hardwood for the skate decks - they thought we were just doing our part to help out the planet. What we didn't expect is that our riders actually preferred the feel of the bamboo over a traditional wood deck. They loved the snap on ollies, and the durability on obstacles is better than any other wood board in the industry. The higher density of the 100% bamboo construction adds more weight to the deck, and more control in tricks. Traffic ECO - Saving the earth one skate at a time!

O'Brien Traffic Foam deck Wakeskate- Lip tricks, wake to wake, or bombing rails - the O'Brien Traffic Wakeskate is built to do it all. 9 ply laminate wood deck provides snap off the wake & true skate feel, marine-grade sealant prevents warping with age. All Traffic skates have a wide profile, fat tips & hard 3-stage rocker for huge airs & ollies O'Brien's durable impact base (the same material you'll find on the bottom of your snowboard) will keep you grinding all season long.






Construction

  • 9-Ply wood decks: stiffness for kickflips, varials, and ollies.
  • Marine sealant: keeps water from damaging the wood cores and diminishes warping.
  • Squared off tip and tail shape. Enables good ollies and popping power.
  • Variable edge shape for better release
  • Foam Deck surface for comfort and grip
