The Peak 42 comes along not only with the full equipment with the best Ortovox features, but can be carried very easily and has multi-functional use. It is suitable for all sports, both winter and summer, which is why it has become the absolute best seller in its class. The backpack can be filled classically from the top or by opening the side. In the front there is a compartment for safety equipment (shovel and probe), which allows immediate access in an emergency. Picks or sticks can be attached on the front, and additional gear can be fastened by the elastic bands on the cover. We use the O-Flex back system to distribute the load as evenly as possible between the hip bone and shoulders. This system was developed by the sports physicians at the Center for the Back in Munich (Rückzentrum München) and is used in all major Ortovox backpacks. The Peak will inspire all those who are looking for an uncompromising all-round backpack.

Features Include:

  • Pick loop - standard for Ortovox. The pick is wound in the loop, then the shaft is fixed via lockable elastic bands.
  • Water Resistant Zips - They keep moisture out and the contents dry.
  • Cell phone/Camera compartment -Thus you have camera and cell phone always at hand.
  • Hydration Compatible - Integrate a camelback or other hydration system into the backpack.
  • Backpack Polygiene - In order to combat odor-causing bacteria, we use Polygiene in the carrying system of our backpacks. A 100% natural silver compound.
  • O-Flex Frame - The back system has been developed in collaboration with the physicians of the "Rückenzentrum" in Munich. It distributes the carrying load fairly between the shoulders and hips and thus provides a better wear comfort and relieves the muscles.
