The 2012 Rome Libertine Snowboard boots are a high end, super comfy snowboard boots that are crafted for ultimate freestyle freedom.
Romes skate cuff is probably the nicest feature on the 2012 Libertine. Expanding foam is laid in your ankle section that sucks around your ankle and totally eliminates the dreaded heel lift. Inorder to belt and braces the heel lift problem, Rome also give you their leverage lacing technology. This nice feature ensures that your key pressure point across the bridge of your foot is super snug and means that your foot is secure inside the liner every time.

Does what it say's on the box.
I got these boots in a 9, and straight after putting them on I noticed how light they were. Normally snowboard boots make you feel like a bit of penguin waddling around but these ARE actually really light and feel just like normal casual boots. Also the "skate cuff" is a lot thicker and more padded than i expected, and it's a really padded boot all over. I think the only negative I can think of so far is that since it's traditionally laced, it takes a bit longer to put on, especially for me as for the past 3 years i've had a quick boa style of boot. Overall very lightweight, very flexy, very padded boot. My review is based on a history of freestyle riding for nearly 6 years.
