The Snowpulse freeride 10L avalanche airbag system is slimline yet packed with features.

You still have enough space for your spare goggles, extra layers and other essential survival gear, all wrapped up in a tidy little backpack. On the outside of your snowpulse system, there is a ski/board carrying system and an ice axe point.

Snowpulse backpacks have an airbag inside of the shoulder straps as well as a compressed air cylinder located in the backpack. In the event of an avalanche, pulling the handle initiates the inflation of the airbag. The pressurised cylinder combines with the surrounding air (in a venturi effect) and inflates the airbag in 3 seconds. When the airbag is inlated, it helps protect the the wearer from trauma, especially to the head and chest area, and also acts as a life jacket , lifting the individual to the surface. The lifting action occurs due to inverse segregation and because of an overall reduction in density to the wearer
