This is the Sportube Series 3 snowboard or ski hardcase. The high density polyethylene plastic two set of snowboard, snowboard boots and snowboard bindings while traveling by plane, train, automobile or shipping via FedEx/UPS etc. It is designed to be lightweight while being strong and durable. Wheels make your sports gear easy to handle - just pull it along with you like a suitcase! Wire Case Pin included.

We also sell the Sportube Pull Handle To make it easier for you to drag your gear through a busy airport terminal or tube station.

Sportube now do a specialized TSA Approved cable lock, so you can lock you gear safe in the knowledge that it'll all get there intact and untampered with.

Function and Characteristics
The Sportube Series 3 does the job that I bought it for, i.e., it protects my ski equipment. My two complaints regarding its function are as follows:- 1. The unit that I purchased is at least 1kg heavier than the weight listed. 2. Some internal anchorage points for retaining straps to stop equipment moving about would really improve its usefulness.

Thank you for your review. We take all weight and sizing issue of our products seriously on our site as we appreciate that it's important to have these correct for our customers. We've been down to our warehouse and weighed a sample of all our Sportubes and have found that the weight on all models is more or less correct. There was a slight fluctuation in it, but no more than 200 grams either side of the weight we've quoted. I can only assume that you have received a 'freak' one.
