Snowboard boot sizes on this page are UK 12 which for most brands is the same as MP 31 or Europe EU 48 or USA Men's 14. MP refers to 'Mondo Point' and is the world system for shoe sizing. MP 31 means the foot-bed liner is exactly 31cm long. We recommend checking the length of the foot-bed liner on your current snowboard boots or on a pair of trainers if you are unsure of your size.

Lacing System
Traditional Laces (5)
Traditional laces allow you to customise the tension of your boot (maybe tight around the ankle and loose around the toes), tend to be preferred by freestyle riders because they are more forgiving and flexible when you land (this makes them more suitable for beginners too) and, some say, they just look better!
Quick Laces (17)
Most manufacturer's have their own name for 'Quick Laces' but they all aim to do the same thing. They make it quick and easy to put your boots on and take them off, to adjust the tension of your laces and then lock the tension via the use of a cleat - preventing any slippage. Some brands have dual systems - allowing you to independently control the lace tension in different parts of the boot. We highly recommend most quick lace systems. They are very effective and very convenient.
Boa (4)
Boa snowboard boots use a steel cable instead of laces - guaranteeing you a firm solid ride, which gives more control over your board as you travel at speed or over rough terrain. The boots use an ingenious 'boa' coiler disc. Simply twist the disc like you are winding up a clock to apply the tension, then push to lock into place. Pull the disc and it instantly releases! Some brands have dual systems - allowing you to independently control the lace tension in different parts of the boot. We highly recommend boa snowboard boots for their sheer convenience. They are particularly good for all mountain and free ride snowboarding.
