Most girls will want to choose a unisex board with a soft flex because, compared with men of the same height, women tend to be lighter. Length
It is important to choose a snowboard which is not too short and not too long for your body weight, for your riding style and for your ability level. A board which is too long will be difficult to turn and to control. A board which is too short will be slower and will not grip the snow and ice so well when you need it to. It will also sink more easily in powder.
