Lens Finish  

This is the final finish of the lens and will either be mirrored or non-mirrored

Non-Mirror (27)

Usually better for lower light conditions or when the sun isn't at it's brightest. You can still get non-mirror all-round lenses that are great in both the sun and lower light conditions

Mirror (41)

Mirror effect or chrome reflective coating. This gives a greater reflectiveness for when the sun is at it's brightest. It cuts out a little more of the harsh light when compared to non-mirror lenses. Traditionally mirror lenses are not so good in lower light situations, but some mirror lenses are very versatile.

Lens Colour  

This is the base colour of the lens, it may have a mirror finish over the top, but it's the base colour that gives the lens it's visual properties.

Silver / Blue (8)

Great for bright light and when the sun is out.

Dark / Grey (2)

Great for bright sunlight

Bronze / Amber (34)

Bronze/Amber/Copper/Ignitor - many brands call this shade many different things, but it all does a very similar job. An amazing all round lens. Great in low light but also does well in the sunshine. Many also have a mirror finish which greater enhances their performance in the bright sun.

Rose (20)

Rose lenses are excellent in allowing you to see the lumps and bumps ahead of you when the light gets low. Also great at boosting contrast.

Yellow (9)

This is a very good low light lens as it enhances depth perception and allows a lot of light through the lens allowing you to carry on riding when the clouds roll in.

Clear (1)

Clear lenses are great for night skiing and are very popular with racers especially in low light, snowing conditions. These let the maximum amount of light through the lens.

Bright Sun (27)

For bright sunny conditions these will give you the best protection and vision.

Cloud/Sun (46)

When it's a bit cloudy and a bit sunny you don't want to be constantly changing you lens. These are perfect for both conditions.

Cloud/Snow (45)

These lenses are great for cloudy conditions and when it's snowing. The boost contrast to help you see more and increase depth perception and definition.

Flat Light (34)

For when the clouds roll in and it's tricky to see definition on the run. Nothing will help in a white-out but these lenses will help before it gets to that!

Night Skiing (1)

Perfect for use in very low light and when under flood lights night skiing.

Ideal for using indoors.
