A stomp pad gives your back foot somewhere solid to stand when getting off chair lifts to give you extra steering control. Having a stomp pad or traction mat attached to your board can be a great help, and can make your snowboard look cool too. We have loads of choice including Burton stomp pads, Bakoda stomp pads and Demon stomp pads.
Some stomp pads come with integrated tool kits or snowboard locks (very useful). Others come as part of a kit or set. You will find them all listed here.
Here we have listed stomp pads which are neither studs nor plain flat rubber mats - they are a kind of combo, featuring some of the best design aspects of both styles.
Our most popular selling type of stomp pad because you can stick each stud down in the precise pattern you like. They look great on all designs of snowboard so are very versatile. Some people buy 2 or 3 packs to ensure traction wherever they stomp their boot! Please be warned, because the surface area in contact with the snowboard is quite small, individual studs do have a tendency to come off. Nothing in life is permanent!
The large surface area makes this the best type of stomp pad or trac if you are concerned about adhesion to your snowboard - especially if your snowboard has already been used (so may not have a totally clean surface). The rubber flexes with the movement of your board so is less likely to work loose.
