Snowboard boot sizes on this page are UK 2 and 2.5 which for most brands is the same as MP 21 and 21.5 or Europe EU 34 and 34.5 or USA Men's 3 and 3.5 or USA Women's 4 and 4.5. MP refers to 'Mondo Point' and is the world system for shoe sizing. MP 21 means the foot-bed liner is exactly 21cm long. MP 21.5 is 21.5cm and so on. We recommend checking the length of the foot-bed liner on your current snowboard boots or on a pair of trainers if you are unsure of your size.
Most manufacturer's have their own name for 'Quick Laces' but they all aim to do the same thing. They make it quick and easy to put your boots on and take them off, to adjust the tension of your laces and then lock the tension via the use of a cleat - preventing any slippage. Some brands have dual systems - allowing you to independently control the lace tension in different parts of the boot. We highly recommend most quick lace systems. They are very effective and very convenient.
Female specific snowboard boots are sized exactly the same as men's boots. Size 8 is size 8 for both. They are the same length and width. The main difference is that the ankle area of the boot is slightly lower, to take account of women's calf muscles coming slightly lower down - but in most cases we are only talking millimeters!
Colour
Manufacturers come up with lots of fancy names for their colours, so we have consolidated them into the closest primary colours.
