Stiff, comfortable, multi-purpose, Velcro climbing shoe

The Mantis is a really stiff climbing shoe from La Sportiva that is great for beginners or as a comfortable, all-day shoe for a more experience climber.
With a padded tongue and 3 Velcro straps this shoe is super comfortable. The stiffness will allow the shoe to do a lot of the work for you on small edges and the unlined inner means that the shoe will mould to your foot over time.

The Mantis is the newer, Velcro version of the popular Scorpion climbing shoe. The only difference being the Velcro straps. These make the shoe easier to get on and off, but they can't be done up so tight. This means you wont get as good a fit, however, it does make them slightly more comfortable.

A great entry level shoe from La Sportiva, ideal for beginners with its stiffness and comfort. Also good for more experienced climbers as an all-day, comfortable multi-pitch shoe.
