The Habanero is a precision lace up shoe designed to provide the sport or trad climber with a new level of precision and a touch of style. Thanks to the inspiration of Markus Bock, one of the strongest sport climbers in the world, Red Chili developed this high end shoe for (almost) everyone. Markus focussed on the crucial features that helped him climb his hardest Frankenjura projects when designing this shoe, so they have a straight last shape, your foot-power is pooled to the big toe and the strong mid-sole supports extra traction for nasty Frankenjura pockets. The speed-lace is incredibly comfortable, while super sensitive and precise footwork doesn´t lag a step behind.

The low profile toe is turned into a slight toe down position that is not too aggressive and combined with the sensitive mid-sole you have a real precision in the toe box of the shoe. On top of the toe box is a rubber patch that allows for for pain-free super-tech toe-hooks and the benefit of adding longevity to your shoe. Your foot will be pushed firmly forward by the tensioned slingshot heel and secured by the fast fitting lacing system. The lo-stretch synthetic upper will prevent the shoe from growing and the leather inner sole will stop the wicked side effect of odour contamination typical for synthetic shoes.
The Habanero must be a contender for one of the best technical all round climbing shoes on the market today.
