The Burton Instigator PurePop Camber snowboard allows you to shortcut the learning curve and progress your snowboarding skills in an easy and confidence-boosting way.
The Instigator comes with Burton's excellent PurePop Camber profile, which features subtle flat zones to amplify pop and add playfulness, while an All Mountain Directional Shape is designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose, which concentrates that pop in the tail, providing plenty of float flow and control.
The Super Fly 800G Core and Dualzone EGD are strong, durable, and lightweight. This gives a great edge hold, keeping you stable as you manipulate your turns with incredible responsiveness and ease and is also great in all conditions making uneven terrain that much easier to ride. The Biax Fibreglass and Twin Flex offer a super balanced , precise and responsive ride.

- All Mountain Directional Shape - Designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while providing plenty of float, flow and control
- Dualzone EGD - The wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge-hold and added strength.
- Extruded Base - Durable and ready to take any abuse you can throw at it, this extruded base is nice and fast and easy to maintain.
- Biax Fiberglass - Bi-axis fiberglass layup to offer a responsive and precise ride.
- The Channel - Rather than using a 4x4 system, Burton have introduced the Channel. A system which allows you to fully adjust your stance width and angles. Your bindings will have to be compatible with the Channel and conversion discs can be bought separately. Burton offers a 3-year warranty on all boards with the Channel.
