About the Edelrid Rap Line Protect Pro Dry 40m
Edelrid has developed the Rap Line, a 6mm accessory cord that can be used as a dynamic safety reserve that is suitable for hauling kit and abseiling.
Through increasing the maximum tensile strength to be greater than 10kN and reducing the weight to less than 30 g/M means the Rap Line is a highly portable accessory that should be a must-have in every climber's toolkit.
Capable of being used with all of Elderid's rope clamps means the Rap line is suitable for both hauling and abseiling thanks to its low elongation. Moreover, the line is capable of withstanding two standard falls adhering to the EN 892 standard.
For improved rope resistance the Rap Line is lined with Aramid, this ensures the ropes have greater durability against cuts when under load. And if it wasn't good enough the Rap Line uses 3D lap coiling to prevent tangles.
There for when you need it, and not taking up much space when you don't.
