About the K2 Disruption SC Alliance + ER3 10 COMPACT QUIKCLIK

The K2 Disruption line consists of a range of skis focused on having the ultimate piste performance. The Disruption SC comes with Marker ER3 10 Compact Quikclik bindings mounted on a track system and will perform whether you carve through early morning groomers or slash the afternoon chop. The Disruption SC Alliance differs from the STI and MTI by using carbon reinforcement instead of titanal layers. This results in a ski that is still extremely torsionally stiff but much more lightweight, making it more manoeuvrable underfoot.

The Disruption is built with K2's revolutionary Dark Matter Dampening (DMD) technology, a layer of polymer and carbon, laid on top of each other and placed along the contact points on the ski edge to provide an unparalleled blend of smoothness and edge grip. The DMD combined with the early rise speed rocker tip makes for effortless turn initiation, enabling the ski to tackle all kinds of conditions on the mountainside.

To add torsional rigidity to make the ski the ultimate speed piste-performing weapon, the Disruption has a full-length carbon reinforcement providing increased accuracy and energy along the entire length of the ski. This allows the ski to charge harder and faster but also soak up lower frequency vibrations creating a smooth seamless ride. The edge grip is further enhanced with K2’s PowerWall, an oversized ABS sidewall extended and laminated into the core of the ski under the binding. No matter what the conditions are like on the piste, these carbon-reinforced skis will let you blast through and grip everything.

The Disruption SC Alliance has a 74 mm waist width for quick edge-to-edge. This matched with a short turn radius you end up with an engaging feel as you tear up groomers. There is also a small early rise in the tips, this allows the skis to smoothly glide over rough or cut-up terrain.
