The Lithium 40 Hiking Backpack from Mammut is a perfect option when you need to pack quite a bit for those long hikes. It comes with some great features that are all designed to make your time as hassle-free and enjoyable as possible.
The V Frame system is a flexible, twistable aluminium frame. On load, weight is optimally transferred to the hips, aiding freedom of movement of the upper body and hips. This is extremely necessary for all types of outdoor activities ensuring a body-hugging fit for safe load control.
The pack features PFC Free DWR (durable water repellant) treatment to keep your gear protected during light showers on your hikes, when it starts to pour a detachable rain cover will ensure your items are kept dry. The back panel and shoulder straps are designed with soft padding and ventilation for maximum comfort and support. The hip belt is also padded and can easily be removed while the carry system can be adjusted to adapt to the length of your back.
The Lithium pack features tons of storage space and gear loops with plenty of ways to organise your gear. Trekking poles and ice axes can be securely attached and compression straps will ensure your extra gear is held in place. The pack is compatible with hydration systems so you can stay hydrated during your hikes.
