The Nidecker Thruster snowboard combines the best elements of Nidecker's Platinum and Rave boards, two of their most popular boards to date, making it a superb all-mountain board for intermediate, advanced or even expert riders.
Constructed with an incredibly light core, positive camber and dense N-9000 sintered base to minimise drag, the Thruster is as the name suggests; a speed machine. With Absorbnib technology and pop carbon fibres, the Thruster absorbs all unwanted vibrations (alongside bad vibes), keeping energy loss to a minimum and giving you the smoothest ride yet, even in harsh conditions. Moreover, SideKick tips raise the wide points of the board off from the snow, helping the nose cut through deep snow and crud like a snowplough at speed.
With supreme rating across the board (no pun intended), the Thruster excels in floatability, carvability, stability at speed and flexibility, and boasts impressive switchability; a tonne of ability for a premier Nidecker board.

- Absorbnid: Innovative top layer designed to absorb unwanted vibrations, providing a smooth, fatigue-free ride.
- Inserts: 4/2-6. The 6 rows of inserts every 2cm allows you to adjust your stance, working with all bindings on the market.
- Triax Plus Fibreglass: Orientated at 45° to the board, the laminate contains different glass densities, providing consistent torsional flex, better pop and more reactivity.
- Light, Wood Core: Paulownia for lightness; poplar for pop and responsiveness; and hardwood beech stringers along the edges to increase core durability and protection from edge impacts.
- N-9000 Base: Constructed with carbon nanoparticles to provide a very dense molecular structure, for speed and durability.
- Pop Carbon Fibres: Increasing reactivity, pop and stiffness, alongside dampening harsh vibrations to allow for aggressive riding in all conditions.
- SideKick: Lifts the edges of the board at the widest points of the nose and tail, allowing for increased float in powder, smoother riding in rough terrain, and effortless turns.
