Introducing the Deacon X, taking over from the popular RTM line as Volkl's high-quality ski for entry-level skiers looking to take on and progress across all piste conditions.
With a waist width of 72mm, the Deacon X sits within the piste-side of the broad all-mountain category. Perfectly suited to the requirements of slope newcomers, with this ski you don't have to worry about a thing apart from having fun out on the mountain. The Deacon X's tip rocker and slim 72 mm underfoot allow for simple turn initiation and comfortable slope riding.
A Composite Core and P-Tex 2100 Base offer a soft and forgiving flex, perfect for lightweight beginners. A traditional sidewall ensures a strong edge hold and creates an even flex. Cap construction in the tip and tail provides easy turn initiation, offering a super-smooth ride. The vMotion1 system is compatible with GripWalk, and it always offers excellent power transmission onto the ski. It also makes getting into and out of the binding very simple and easy.
