About the 686 Standard Shell
The 686 Standard ski and snowboard pants are perfect for your adventures from one piste to the next. These trousers come with the standard features you would expect from traditional ski and snowboard pants and are ideal for everything from mid-winter rides to spring slushy days on the mountain!
The Standard has a shell design that allows you to layer up on the coldest days to keep warm or remove layers in the springtime/hotter days to prevent overheating. This creates a very adaptable ski/snowboard pant that is ideal for all times of the year.
2-layer infiDRY® fabric not only keeps the elements at bay but also allows plenty of breathability by allowing moisture to escape and thus improving your overall body temperature regulation. 686 have added a Durable Water Repellency coating so vapour rolls of the surface and doesn't soak into the fabric. All this results in trousers that will handle whatever the mountain throws your way.
Like all 686 ski and snowboarding pants, the Standard comes with a PJ (pant-to-jacket) system that allows you to connect your pants to any jacket with a corresponding system and when used this will prevent snow getting in between and under your outerwear layers.
The 686 Standard pants are ski and snowboarding trousers that you won't have to break the bank for but still has enough technical features to keep you warm and protected when you're out on the slopes.
