BACH has been producing backpacks for over 40 years, some would say that they know that is good for your back. With an ethos of producing the very best in the most sustainable way possible BACH are at the forefront of innovation for packs that are built to last. 
Swiss designed. 

BACH goods are produced in Switzerland and extensively tested in the Swiss Alps. Located close to nature is not only reflected in the number of extended weekends of their employees but also leads to innovative product ideas for the first prototypes that are designed in their workshop in Zurich. Moreover, the conceptualisation and design of BACH products, product supervision and global coordination are also taken out from their Swiss offices.

BACH prides itself on a design inspired by the outdoors. Part of BACH's ethos is to care for more than just packs; the company prides itself about care for the environment in which we live our dreams, with a strong responsibility for the people who work on the products everywhere in the production chain.

use of Bluesign-certified materials bought as close to the production site as possible
repair rather than replace
sea freight shipments of materials and products
design in ways that make repairs possible
build packs that last longer
no banned substances anywhere in our production chain
recycled packaging

As part of their customer responsibility, BACH aims to build comfortable packs that endure the test of time. They strive to ensure there are no issues with your pack. If BACH built it they will stand behind it. Regardless of when you brought it or what happened to it, they will fix it and they will. If you are one of the few to have found a BACH pack with production or material errors - BACH will find a solution with you together. If BACH deems your malfunctioned pack is still usable by somebody else, they will donate it to a charity of their choosing. Only as a last resort will BACH strip the pack from everything still useful in sample production before throwing it away.

BACH is one of the last manufacturing companies where the spirit of the outdoor pioneers is still alive. BACH employees love what they do and they like being outdoors as often as they can. BACH design all our packs themselves. Whenever possible BACH produce a first trial run in Zurich, Switzerland. This allows BACH to avoid major mistakes and fine-tune our new styles.

BACH don't advertise, BACH hardly prints a catalogue but BACH makes 'good stuff'.
