Julbo have been manufacturing eyewear since 1888 and after over a century of production still strive to innovate and adapt with a taste for adventure and freedom to allow everyone to see the world even better.
Julbo first began back in 1888 in Morez France. The business started with one idea in mind....Innovation. In the early 20th century at the request of Chamonix crystal hunters, Julbo founder Jules Baud designed the first Cristalliers, glacier sunglasses created to minimise glare, and have since aimed to innovate and adapt to provide performance, practicality and protection to those in the mountains.
With a history of performance in the harshest environments found on Earth, Julbo developed and tested their range in the 8000ers alongside technical adviser Yannick Seigneur. Throughout the 1990's having secured its reputation as a benchmark for sun protection in extreme environments, Julbo applied its expertise to manufacture protection for children and developed a Baby range.
Nowadays Julbo funnel their 125 years of technological expertise and knowledge into developing ski/snowboard goggles, helmets as well as their original ranges of eyewear and protection. They still create their entire range with the same passion and taste for adventure and freedom in order to allow everyone to see the world even better.
