Outwell was created by Henrik Arens from the OASE outdoors group. Henrik represented the second generation taking over from his father Mogen who founded OASE in 1984. The brainchild of Henrik Outwell filled the gap in the market that offered high quality equipment and tents that catered towards family camping sold at reasonable prices. From the small collection released in 1995 Outwell was a success. The initial concept that a family could buy everything required for camping from a singular brand was attractive to both retailers and users; consequently the company expanded and is considered the leading camping family brand.




Taking inspiration from their scandinavian heritage, Outwell is at the forefront of brands producing products that deliver versatile home from home comfort. They combine ingenuity with a stylised flair in all of their ranges with collections that aim to raise the standard of camping equipment.
