All Trek'n Eat meals are packed in a nitrogen atmosphere to prevent spoiling from oxidization.  Since the moisture content of freeze-dried and dehydrated foods is very low, the risk of spoilage by moisture is also very low. However, to reduce this risk, the oxygen in the pouch must be replaced. This is done by first evacuating the pouch and then re-filling with pure nitrogen before sealing.  Nitrogen accounts for roughly 79 % of the air we breathe and is entirely safe for foods.

All Trek'n Eat meals are labelled with the 'All Natural' label indicating no preservatives, no colourants and no flavour enhancing additives have been used. Each Trek'n Eat meal provides a high calorie count and comes packaged in waterproof, resealable freestanding pouch.

The Trek'n Eat product range consists of complete meals, vegetarian meals, soups, vegetables and other diverse nutritional dishes from breakfast to dessert.
