ABS are a German company focused on engineering avalanche gear and have been developing, manufacturing and testing emergency equipment since 1985. The Airbag system was a huge step forward in avalanche safety, revolutionising protection with a 97% survival rate of avalanche victims when it was equipped. Their equipment is used by a lot of the very best freestyle skiers and snowboarders in the world including Xavier De Le Rue, Lynsey Dyer, Flo Orley and Sebastian Hannemann.
