Comfortable flexible binding.

After my first week on a snowboard, I fell in love with it. I was pushed into snowboarding by a torn MCL in a skiing incident and can say that so far I have had no trouble from this injury whilst boarding. I was looking at ABSNOW's website before I even left the resort trying to decide what to buy, and was overwhelmed by the amount of options available. I spent a lot of time reading reviews and watching youtube videos before making a decision on what setup to buy. Coming from a skiing background of 27 years and still being able to recall those days that I spent more time on my backside through inexperience and equipment that disnt suit my style, I know how easy it is to lose enthsiasm if your equipment doesnt do what you expect of it. I'm 5'8, 72kg and enjoy speed and off piste on skis, so wanted to do similar on a snowboard. I wanted a medium/stiff setup (board/bindings/boots) as I felt that this suited my style the most. Having ski'd for so long I wanted something slightly stiffer to give more performace for charging down the piste carving and eventual use off piste. I had used soft boots, standard learner bindings and a soft flex board in my first week and didnt find they gave enough output for my input. I chose the Flow Fuse Hybrid Bindings for several reasons. The review by Absolute snow said that they are comfortable and reduce fatigue. I totally agree with this. Once correctly setup the bindings can be firm but not cause youre feet to ache. It's great not having to adjust your bindings every time you put them on and once you've found that sweet spot your feet will thank you for buying these. On the flip side, you can adjust the bindings in the traditional way if you need to and it is no harder to do than on a regular binding. I wasnt sure abut the full rear entry setup as Id heard that there are times when this can be a pain so went for the hybrid to give me the best of both worlds. I found that the rear entry was quick and easy to get out of. Sometimes I did need to loosen the toe strap in order to get in properly but this was no great trouble and a small sacrifice for main foot comfort on the main strap. The only minor consideration is that when you fall, you need to check your rear entry release, it only happened to me once over the week but the rear entry came undone and I failed to notice. I then rode for a few minutes with it insecure. This could happen to any binding (toe straps come off in big crashes) but because the rear release is behind you it is easier to go un-noticed. A nice little touch by Flow in the design of these bindings is that the rear entry release mechanism has a conveniently built in bottle opener designed into it, handy for a cheeky beer on the way home! You can have faith in buying with ABSNOW, they have never let me down and I have found their prices and service unbeatable. I have recommended them to my family and friends who have all since purchassed from ABSNOW without disappointment.

Excellent

I've always had traditional flow bindings so when I decided to upgrade I bit the bullet and got the hybrid version i am very glad I made the switch. They are very easy to adjust to boot shape and riding style and are quick to release great when you are at Castleford /Milton kyenes etc.

great binging

Great binding

Flow Fuse bindings

I have used flow bindings fire 10 years and loved them . Technology has freaky l really moved on and these are a great upgrade from my 10 year old NXTs. The raising top strap is great, just keep an eye on the front rachets that can pop up from time to time.

Flow

Being a veteran rider and blessed with being there at the start of boarding I have seen and bought some strange equipment in my days some good some not so! These rear entry flow bindings are the mutts no more sitting around just as quick as skiers getting off the lifts now ??

Mikko

Rekalla good binding. I recommend.

Good

Find flow bindings really great for ease of use but these are a little too soft for my liking and i wish i had gone for the stiffer nxt. Great for freestyle but just a bit soft for hard charging. I think a beginner or someone with a couple of weeks under their belt would love these and get plenty of use out of them.

Flow Fusion

I purchased from Absolute Snow and really pleased with both the product and service... These bindings are great. After much research for speed entry bindings I tried Gnu Psych, SP Fastec and Private, and eventually I decided to give Flow a try - and it has been the best speed entry that Ive used ever. The NASTY tech is definitely worth it, it moves the strap for more room to kick the foot in...if you can afford the extra over the other Flow (eg Nexus etc) without NASTY then definitely spend the extra money - also do not get hybrid strap get the normal Fusion as the hybrid requires more time to put on - which negates the whole purpose of getting a speed entry binding in the first place. Fantastic binding, lightweight, durable - a real find!

quick ready

Starting and finishing runs, waiting in line at the chair lift etc, these bindings are perfect for getting your boots in and out, no sitting about on the snow adjusting your straps. set them up once and there fit to go. good bit of flex on them and comfortable padding. easy for initial set up. just all round amazing Bindings.

solid and user friendly

Iv always been a fan of flow bindings. The addition of the toe support is a new bonus. Really helps you feel planted to the board and super easy to step in and out.
