The 2017 Helo 2.0 ski and snowboard helmet from Anon is a classic, low profile helmet with audio compatibility.
The in-mold construction is a fuse of a lightweight polycarbonate shell and an EPS foam inner giving a sleek, low profile fit and feel. The open ventilation allows cooling airflow and the liners and ear pads are lined in low pill, non pile expedition fleece which keeps you cosy but isn't over kill when you are mid hike or park lap.
For on the fly adjustments Anon have teamed up with Boa so you can easily dial in minor size tweaks for all day comfort and pressure control without any bulk being added to the low profile design.
This helmet is also audio compatible with most aftermarket Audio Drop Ins.
The helmet initially grabbed my attention with its elegant cosmetics. After clicking on it and discovering the practicality behind I was determined to own one. The adjusting BOA system really tightens in a comfortable firm grip around my head. After wearing it around my house for an hour I realised two tiny plastic bits poking into the side of my head. I pulled the padding back and simply removed them. My second test was attaching my gopro to the helmet and again wearing it for another hour. Because the helmet is so light the weight of the goPro didn't affect any movements. I'm overall happy with this helmet and the service provided to an overseas customer (Australia). Thanks guys!
