The 2017 Nova MIPS helmet from Anon is a hard wearing lid constructed for season after season of knock around wear and tear while remaining a pinnacle of reliable protection.
MIPS stands for Multidirectional Impact Protection System, so you know you're getting incredible protection for your dome.
The MIPS system works by having an added layer to slide with your head upon impact, which adds more protection against the rotational violence that can damage the brain, due to angled impacts. The ICEdot emergency identifier is a sensor that comes with a service that can be set up to share predesignated health and location if it senses a hard crash, share your health information with first responders, and text your pre designated emergency contacts if a crash is sensed and the alarm is not turned off. In other words, this helmet is a great thing to take into the back-country.
The active ventilation allows you to control the amount of airflow, with 23 different vents. The goggle ventilation channel ensures you won't fog up either. The liners and ear pads are lined in low pill, long haired fleece which keeps you cosy and comfortable. The Fidlock snap helmet buckle is adujstable to help you get the perfect fit and right amount of protection.
The simple fit design makes removing the ear pads smooth which is great if you want to run a beanie or goggles underneath and you can remove the goggle clip too.
This helmet is also audio compatible with most aftermarket Audio Drop Ins
