About the Armada Stranger

Brand new for the 2020/2021 season the Stranger has been designed to make the most out of every situation on the mountain whether it's carving, hitting booters, and cutting through off-piste routes. The Zero collection consists of skis that are born out of the desire to push industry standards and be uncompromising in their design to best serve their athletes, which was the whole reason that Armada was born in the first place.

The Stranger has a turning radius of 15m and a poplar ash core, giving the ski a playful and maneuverable nature which a common theme across the Armada ski range. Lightweight Poplar is combined with higher density full-length Ash stringers to create a ski with a smooth flex giving stability as well as maintaining the pop needed to get that extra height off jumps and booters. To maintain a solid hold whilst carving the Stranger features rockered tips and tails combined with positive camber underfoot to allow the ski to charge easily over fresh groomers and unpredictable snow. These features allow you to enjoy every run and feature found on the mountainside.

The AR 75 sidewalls, S7 base (low maintenance and durable), and 2.2 impact edges make the Stranger fast and durable. To continue the fun playful nature the Stranger uses a Springboard Tail for endless wheelies and getting that extra pop of side kickers and jumps. The Stranger makes the most out of everyday skiing performing well on the piste, off-piste and off jumps, to ultimately give the user the most fun experience on the mountainside.

A consistent record of being the best selling binding on the market speaks for itself- and now Marker has upgraded the Griffon to be even better. The Griffon ID includes a height-adjustable ID Sole toe piece, making it compatible with Alpine Touring boot soles as well as traditional soles.

Marker has also included is well-known AFD (Anti-Friction Device) on the toe piece. This allows for a precise release which is almost completely unhindered by dirt, snow, and ice. Individual adjustment of AFD can ensure perfect functionality.
