The Punx series is Atomic's freestyle-focused range of skis. The Punx Seven is the most advanced in the series and is used by athletes such as Gus Kenworthy and Fabian Bösch. With a true twin-tipped profile, a lively core, and a bomb-proof construction is perfectly set up for the intermediate to advance freestyle skiers or to shape the future competition winners.
The Punx Seven uses Atomic's park rocker profile with a 10/80/10 shape (10% front rocker, 80% camber, 10% tail rocker), to provide pop off lips and jumps and to make the Punx Five responsive. With quite a low amount of rocker at the tip and tails it means more of the ski edge remains in contact with the snow for better gip and stability.
Its Light Woodcore and Densolite Core help to dampen vibrations whilst keeping the ski light to make it easier to rotate in the air. Along with keeping the ski light, Atomic have also made sure the Punx Five is durable by including a Resist Edge and a Duracap construction. This is to protect the edges from frequent impact so the Punx Five is built to withstand laps and laps of the park.
Created to have fun, the Punx Five is suitable for freestyle skiers wanting to continue their development and learn new tricks, or jib around the mountain.
Please Note:These skis have been on display in our store, there are slight marks and scuffs along the topsheet. These marks and scuffs are only cosmetic and won't effect the performance of the skis.
