It features the AirRide™ technology Bataleon includes within the wood core of select models, which dampens vibrations and makes riding smoother at high speeds. It’s basically like having a suspension system on your snowboard.
The Twin Triple base technology (3BT) makes for excellent park and all-mountain riding. Its cambered profile drives power through the board's edges for solid edge hold, while also pressurizing the nose and tail for explosive pop. The base uplift angle is mellow, becoming more dramatic at the widest areas of the board. The Evil Twin offers a loose jib feel while the wide centre base makes it stable on takeoffs, landings, in presses, and at high speeds.
Side Kick Tips enhance the performance of the 3BT base, increasing side base uplift on the widest parts of the nose and tail. This creates incredibly smooth turn initiations and enhances overall board stability in rough terrain and in powder.
The Evil Twin features Bataleon's new Super Ultra Light Core - the lightest of cores with an 80/20 blend of Swiss Paulownia and poplar for the ultimate in featherweight response. Tri-axial laminates are laid above and below the core for enhanced durability and snap, whilst carbon stringers energize the Evil Twin on hard landings and fast railing turns. This creates a board that has the power and strength to charge, boost lips, hit and features with your friends, and the flexibility to hold buttery presses and slay rails in the park.
The Evil Twin rides everything on the mountain with strength and power for advanced riders, whilst also remaining forgiving enough for riders looking to progress and find their area of expertise.
- Twin 3BT - A cambered profile gives great performance in the park and all over the mountain with a reasonably wide centre for stability on rails & medium uplift side bases to create a catch free ride on groomers & improved float in powder.
- Ultra Light Core - 70-30 Swiss paulownia and poplar wood blend for an unparalleled strength to weight ratio
- Hyper Glide S - A tough fast sintered base that performs well in all conditions with high wax retention between services.
- Tri Axial Laminates - Tri-ax laminates laid above & below the core deliver precision to your riding & loads of snap in the board.
- FlipFlop Base - Die-cut bases are like a jigsaw. FlipFlop minimizes waste by using two or more color options for each piece. That means more unique graphics and less environmental harm.
- Carbon Stringers Extra Layup - Carbon stringers are inserted either side of each of the bindings helping to reduce weight, whilst acting as powerful pop booster bars for those ollies & nollies
- Central Super Tubes - one hollow carbon rod down the centre of the core, adding pop without increasing torsional stiffness.
- Side Kick Tips - Increases sidebase lift for smoother turns, float in powder, stability in all terrains enhancing 3BT advantages.
