About the Berghaus Fast Hike

Part of Berghaus’s Extrem Range, the Fast Hike 20 was developed in collaboration with research teams from MtnHaus to create an ultralight backpack that doesn’t compromise on durability.

With no external zips the pack comes in at a featherlight 535g, however it remains fully capable. Elasticated pockets can be found on the shoulder straps, hip-belt and with two water bottle pockets on the main compartment. Externally the pack does have a sleeve for a water-bladder so you have range of options for hydration systems. A generously sized main compartment has a roll top closure system. Internally there is a singular zippered compartment for valuables so they remain close at hand.

Featuring a chassis system instead of a conventional frame the pack moves in conjunction with the body to ensure you feel unrestricted regardless of the activity. Comfort is provided with a highly breathable honeycomb mesh, combined with wide shoulder straps, the pack feels more like a running vest than a backpack.

The ultralight Fast Hike 20 pack is constructed from Nylon 100D Robic Alkex a highly durable lightweight fabric designed for apparel where a minimal load is paramount. Ideal for the weight conscious backpacker who doesn’t want to compromise on comfort the Fast Hike enables you to ‘wear the weight, don’t carry it!’
