The multi-directional impact protection system (MIPS) equips the Baker with an intelligent, multi-layered liner system that allows for the foam liner to slightly rotate independently from your head and ultimately minimise the amount of rotational force that may be transferred to the brain.
The fit on the Baker has also been changed and Bern have decided to include a CrankFit dial fit size adjustment. This system utilises a wheel on the rear of the helmet which cinches the liner to keep the fit snug and secure. It also features easily adjustable straps and a secure chin strap buckle. The liners can be removed as they're secured into the helmet with tough poppers and velcro. This means you can easily wash the liner to keep your helmet fresh.
