A cult classic from Big Agnes, the Big House 6 tent is more spacious and versatile than ever, delivering a full-featured car camping shelter at a fantastic price.
Built for 3-season road trips and destination camping, the Big House features high-volume pole architecture with a steep wall design to give occupants more headroom and living space. The incredible design now offers more internal room with a standing height of 203cm allowing you to change and move freely inside.
The Shelter Mode allows you to pitch the fly independently of the canopy to create a large, open awning that's perfect for sunshade or rain protection on warmer days. Shelter Mode requires only the fly, poles and included webbing harness. It can also be set up using the footprint (sold separately) in place of the webbing harness.
The Big House features a breathable mesh inner with two large entrances for hassle-free access. Doors feature windows with two closure options: mesh only for added ventilation or a zip-up layer for complete closure in cooler conditions.
The freestanding design features colour-coded webbing and buckles for ease of pitching while a clip and sleeve system attaches the pole frame to the canopy. Hook and loop tabs further secure the flysheet to the lightweight DAC aluminium poles for added wind stability.
Seams are taped with waterproof, solvent-free polyurethane while the polyester flysheet and floor deliver 1500mm waterproof PU coating.
A great basecamp tent for multi-day camping breaks, festival hangouts or even for picnics and day trips when stripped down to Shelter Mode. An additional backpack-style carry bag makes for a travel-friendly design when hiking from car to campsite.
