About the Big Agnes Twister Cane
The TwisterCane Bio-Foam Pad from Big Agnes gives you a stripped back sleeping mat that can be used alone or combined with an airbed for improved insulation in colder conditions.
The new design uses a unique, closed-cell foam technology made from more than 60% sugarcane biomass. Sugarcane-based EVA foam reduces the reliance on petroleum and delivers a foam camping pad that is lightweight, durable, and warm and made to Proforest standards from a truly renewable resource.
The TwisterCane pad provides a firm, cushioned barrier between you and the ground. It can be used alone for minimalist camping trips or layered with an air pad for added insulation. The two-layer design is smooth on one side with a heat-trapping tire tread pattern on the other letting you switch between surfaces depending on conditions or if layered with an airbed.
The TwisterCane BioFoam Pad rolls small for a compact pack-size, and at 397g, it won't weigh you down. This is a great value mat that's perfect for high-mileage treks and for added insulation when camping out in colder weather.
