The heel mould activates the calf muscle, stabilising the back of the foot and improving your gait and coordination. Longitudinal arch supports run alongside the sides of the footbed, surrounding the tarsal bones inside and out whilst the transverse arch support which runs through the middle of the footbed stabilises the metatarsal bone.
