The 2020 Black Crows Daemon Birdie skis are tailor made to handle hard packed/bumpy terrain with super easy turn initiations. However when riding flat the skis produce less grip due to the reverse camber profile but as soon as you turn onto the edge of the ski it creates tons of grip so you can quickly pivot into your turns, carving will be a breeze.
At 99mm underfoot it definitely creates the perfect balancing point that is capable of powder ski, but very versatile for all mountain cruising, they are wide enough to take into the backcountry, however they are nimble enough to charge round on piste. As a result these skis can float in light pow, but also cut through variable conditions enabling you to stay stable on the skis even when the ride gets bumpy.
