New for 2020, the Alpine Carbon Cork WR trekking pole from Black Diamond is a fully adjustable, 4-season trekking pole designed for challenging terrain - from autumn trail hikes to long summer approaches and mid-winter expeditions.

A three-section, 100% carbon fibre shaft is coalesced with an intelligently designed dual Flicklock Pro locking system to ensure rapid and secure height adjustment on the move.

This versatile trekking pole features Whippet Ready technology (WR) that uses an internal screw thread in the grip to connect a number of accessories, including the new Universal Trekking Pole Adapter; a Whippet; Alpine Whippet or the Distance UL Tent for a fast-packing and camping set-up that attaches directly to the grip-top replacing supporting poles (all sold separately).

The comfortable wicking cork grip features a durable padded wrist strap and a non-slip EVA extension for quick choke-ups on steep terrain.

Includes a 38mm trekking basket and interchangeable carbide Tech Tips which can be switched out with powder baskets and rubber tips to account for changing trail surfaces (powder baskets and rubber tips sold separately).
